Sewing Workshop: Birthday Crown

Sew a reusable fabric birthday crown while learning basic machine sewing techniques. Create a fun, personalized keepsake to celebrate birthdays for years to come. Ages 16+.
This hands-on workshop introduces participants to Creation Zone tools and equipment through a guided project. Learn basic techniques, materials, and workflows while completing a finished item to take home. Staff provide support throughout the session. No prior experience required. All materials are provided and included in the program cost, unless otherwise stated. Please note that fabric selection is subject to availability and may differ from the examples shown.

Important Note: We are unable to offer refunds for participants who are late or missed their program. As well, if a registered participant has not arrived within 15 minutes of the start program time, their spot may be given to a walk-in participant who can pay the materials fee at the Service Desk.

If you have to cancel your spot for any reason, you can do so by:
1. Logging into MyEvents using your library card. If you did not register with your library card, you will need the reference number you received in your confirmation email.
2. Phone your local branch, or email oplreference@oakville.ca. Please have ready the program title, program date, and names of registered individuals.
