Program RoomBuild your own wind-powered car and see how far it can go! Ages 5-8
In this STEM building challenge, kids will explore simple science concepts like air power and motion while designing, decorating, and testing their creations. A fun, hands-on introduction to engineering and experimentation. Plus, kids get to bring their sail car home!

Located inside the expanded Sixteen Mile Sports Complex, the new 18,000+ square foot branch features a Children's Area, Discovery Zone, Community Living Room, second‑floor Mezzanine, Digital Media Studio and Sound Studio, and multiple work and study spots including the Laptop Bar and dedicated Quiet Study Room. Explore the wide range of materials and resources, including a large, brand-new print and digital collection, an expanded Library of Things, public access computers, and free Wi-Fi.
