Program RoomConnect global citizenship to STEAM and the science of purpose in the 4-week youth focused series. Ages 9-12
Designing Solutions for a Better World: participants will use science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and AI to explore the United Nations Sustainable Development in search of innovative solutions to address these goals. Using deep empathy and human-centered design, participants will learn how to use STEAM and AI for good to design purpose-driven business ventures - from problem identification to prototyping, and marketing. Participants will build leadership skills with a real-world challenge focused on either environmental sustainability or social impact, which they must address as part of their entrepreneurial journey.

Located inside the expanded Sixteen Mile Sports Complex, the new 18,000+ square foot branch features a Children's Area, Discovery Zone, Community Living Room, second‑floor Mezzanine, Digital Media Studio and Sound Studio, and multiple work and study spots including the Laptop Bar and dedicated Quiet Study Room. Explore the wide range of materials and resources, including a large, brand-new print and digital collection, an expanded Library of Things, public access computers, and free Wi-Fi.
