Sewing Workshop: Ruffle Bag

Learn how to operate a sewing machine while creating a custom ruffle bag project. Machines and materials are provided. Build beginner-friendly skills and take home your finished bag. Ages 16+.
This hands-on workshop introduces participants to Creation Zone sewing tools and equipment through a guided project. Build sewing skills while learning to operate a machine and explore beginner-friendly techniques, materials, and workflows in a custom project.
Staff provide support throughout the session; no prior experience required. Each participant is provided a sewing machine, eye protection, and base materials. Fabric selection may vary. All materials are included unless otherwise stated. Participants will complete a finished item to take home. Ages 16+.
Program Fee is $12.00

Important Note: We are unable to offer refunds for participants who are late or missed their program. As well, if a registered participant has not arrived within 15 minutes of the start program time, their spot may be given to a walk-in participant who can pay the materials fee at the Service Desk.

1. Logging into MyEvents using your library card. If you did not register with your library card, you will need the reference number you received in your confirmation email.
2. Phone your local branch, or email oplreference@oakville.ca. Please have ready the program title, program date, and names of registered individuals.
