Maker Meetup: Photography

Bring a project to work on, share ideas, or simply connect with others in a relaxed, creative space. Open to all experience levels. Ages 18+.

Join fellow makers, creatives, and curious community members for casual themed meetups in the Creation Zone. Each session explores a different topic, interest, or creative prompt—from repair and reuse to textile arts, scrap projects, digital fabrication, and more.

Maker Meetups are community-focused gatherings rather than formal instructional classes. Participants are encouraged to work independently, collaborate, and learn from one another. Limited staff guidance is available, and equipment may be used independently based on staff capacity and equipment availability. 

Session theme: Fine Art Photography

Whether you're actively creating fine art photography, just getting started, or simply enjoy the medium, this meetup is an opportunity to connect with others who share your interest.

Bring a photography project, prints, a work-in-progress, or simply your ideas. Share your creative process, discuss artists who inspire you, ask questions, explore techniques, or talk through creative challenges. Everyone brings a different perspective, making each conversation unique. We hope you'll leave with fresh ideas, new connections, and inspiration for your next photographic project.
