Creation ZoneLearn the basics on how to use Creation Zone equipment.
Attend a lecture-style program explaining how to operate Creation Zone equipment and the basics of designing a maker project. Each session is intended to prepare attendees for independent use of Creation Zone equipment through appointment bookings.
This session is focused on 3D Printing using the Ultimaker 2 Connect and introducing the Bambu Lab X1-Carbon 3D printer, coming soon to the Creation Zone at Sixteen Mile Branch.

Important Note: We are unable to offer refunds for participants who are late or have missed their program. As well, if a registered participant has not arrived within 15 minutes of the program start time, their spot may be given to a walk-in participant who can pay the materials fee at the Service Desk.

1. Logging into MyEvents using your library card. If you did not register with your library card, you will need the reference number you received in your confirmation email.
2. Phone your local branch, or email oplreference@oakville.ca. Please have ready the program title, program date, and names of registered individuals.

Located within the Glen Abbey Community Centre in northwest Oakville, Glen Abbey Branch is Oakville Public Library’s busiest location and serves over 350,000 customers per year. As a community and cultural hub in north Oakville, the branch offers several rooms available for booking and hosts a variety of programming for all-ages that inspires creativity. Parking is free.
