Program RoomJoin us for the Halton Writer's Workshop, advanced session. This workshop provides an opportunity for peer critique, helping you strengthen and refine your writing.18+
Each month, selected participants share their work for group discussion and feedback. The aim is to encourage and empower writers to strengthen their craft while providing all members with valuable insights into both their own writing and their analytical reading skills.
The Halton Writer's Workshop is facilitated by Benjamin Gleisser, an award-winning journalist, medical writer, and ghostwriter. With experience teaching composition, journalism, and creative writing at Cuyahoga Community College and Cleveland State University, Benjamin brings a wealth of knowledge to the group. He is the recipient of two Ontario Arts Council writing grants and has previously led the Moosemeat Writing Group (Toronto) and the Burlington Writers Workshop.

Located within southwest Oakville, the Woodside Branch is home to a large collection of materials and study spaces. The branch hosts a variety of programs for all ages. Parking is free.
