Program room 1+2Supporting your loved one through the caregiving journey can often resemble the topsy turvy world of the Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
When a child is born, it is such a hopeful beginning; when your loved one has Alzheimer's Disease or other progressive disease, it can often be like a walk backwards.
Discussion topics will include:
- The topsy turvy world of Alzheimer's Disease
- Coping with grief
- Emotional supports.
- Recognizing that beginning is also ending.
- In this second session of the Caregiver Insights series, Paula takes us through this strange yet wonderful caregiving phenomenon of living in reverse.
This workshop is open to caregivers as well as health care providers that support family caregivers in their work.
