Learn how to use your camera in manual mode for total creative control. Ages 13+.
Have you ever wondered how professional photographers achieve out of focus backgrounds that make their subjects pop? Or how they capture the illusion of movement of a flowing waterfall? During this session you'll learn how to produce these effects using manual mode on your camera. We'll cover the basics of exposure including ISO, Shutter Speed and Aperture. These settings are accessible on all SLR and mirrorless cameras but are also common in point and shoot devices and newer smartphones.
This program is part of OPL’s Teen Photography Contest, running from July 1st to August 31st but is open to anyone 13+ with an interest in photography.
