This friendly, hands-on session is designed to help seniors feel confident and at ease with their iPads. Come learn about your iPad and get your specific questions answered 55+

In this practical and easy‑to‑understand session, participants will learn essential skills for staying safe on the internet. The program covers how to recognize common online scams, create strong and secure passwords, shop safely on e‑commerce websites, and identify phishing attempts in email and on social media. Whether you’re new to digital safety or looking to refresh your knowledge, this workshop provides clear strategies to help protect your personal information and navigate the online world with confidence.

 If you have to cancel your spot for any reason, you can do so by: 

 1.    Logging into MyEvents using your library card.  If you did not register with your library card, you will need the reference number you received in your confirmation email. 

 2.    Phone your local branch, or email oplreference@oakville.ca.  Please have ready the program title, program date, and names of registered individuals.
