Join Tony Crawford, a Canadian banking whistleblower since 2017, as he reveals how everyday people can become victims of financial scams hidden within the banking system. 18+
Crawford has long campaigned to make it a crime for fraudsters to use fake loans and financial tricks to steal money from personal and public accounts—often leaving innocent people to pay the price.
This session also explores key findings from Dirty Money, a 2023 review by Queen’s University professor Christian Leuprecht, showing that organized crime is growing in Canada and using our financial systems to do it.
Crawford explains how modern banking technology can track suspicious activity, protect our economy, and help ensure that the numbers add up fairly for everyone.
