Join us for a fun musical session where you can try out different percussion instruments. Ages 5-8
A detailed yet participatory session for kids of all ages, this program is a great introduction to the world of classical percussion. Our workshop leader, a classically-trained percussionist, will take you on a tour of the variety of percussion instruments, covering topics such as technique, mallets, history and musicality. Throughout the session, participants get a chance to try out these instruments, utilize techniques and begin their percussion journey!
This program is ticketed. Tickets are available at the information desk 15min prior to program start. Space is limited.
Parents & caregivers must remain in the branch at all times.

Located within the Iroquois Ridge Community Centre, Iroquois Ridge Branch is home to a large collection of materials, study spaces, and a Creation Zone. The branch hosts a variety of programs for all ages, with a particular focus on new and emerging technologies, such as virtual reality and Tinker Toys. Parking is free.
