Welcome Home is a program designed to provide useful information and social interaction for newcomer families facilitated by Oakville Parent-Child Centre.
Welcome to the Welcome Home Program—a space designed just for you and your family! If you're new to the community, this program is all about helping you feel valued, connected, and at home.
It’s a chance to share your story, celebrate your strengths, and meet other families who understand what it’s like to start fresh in a new place. Over several weeks, you’ll join a warm, supportive group where we’ll explore topics like parenting tips, child development, and building strong family relationships. Our team will learn from you, too—it’s all about growing and learning together.
We’ll also help you connect with local resources and services here in Oakville and Halton, making it easier to settle in and find what you need. Come join us, share your experiences, and be part of a community where you and your family truly belong. We can’t wait to welcome you!

Located within the Iroquois Ridge Community Centre, Iroquois Ridge Branch is home to a large collection of materials, study spaces, and a Creation Zone. The branch hosts a variety of programs for all ages, with a particular focus on new and emerging technologies, such as virtual reality and Tinker Toys. Parking is free.
