Nocturne: Poems to Linger Over

Celebrate Poetry month by joining us as Marilyn Lightstone, iconic and multi-talented Canadian actress and artist reads a selection of poems from the publication, Noturne: Poems to Linger over. 18+

Seven nights a week, listeners tune in to “Nocturne” on the New Classical FM, hosted by Marilyn Lightstone  ‑ for two hours of poetry selected and read by Ms. Lightstone, interwoven with classical music.  Ms. Lightstone has gathered some of the poems she read on her radio program into a stunning poetry collection of classic to contemporary poems by renowned and lesser-known poets.  Nocturne: Poems to Linger Over is a celebration for the poetry lover, and also features beautiful paintings by Ms. Lightstone.

Marilyn Lightstone is known internationally for her moving performances on television, stage, screen, and impressive for her photography and painting.

A copy of the book will be given to the first 5 people who register for the event.

A Different Drummer Books will be on hand to sell copies of the book. 

Ms. Lightstone will autograph copies of her book after the presentation.
