Part of the Green Connections for Adults 55+ Program
Explore the majestic heritage trees of Oakville’s historic downtown and Lakeside area. Many of these trees have taken decades to reach maturity, and once established, they provide tremendous benefits—supporting wildlife, improving air quality, cooling neighbourhoods, and enhancing the livability of our urban environment.
During this guided walk, you’ll learn how to identify notable species, understand the value of mature trees, and discover how each of us can help protect and care for Oakville’s invaluable urban forest.
Meeting Location for the walk only:
Please meet in front of the Oakville Museum, 8 Navy Street, Oakville ON.
Registration is required.
Please review the guidelines and frequently asked questions on our Program FAQ.
