Virtual Branch

Virtual Room 1

Build stronger 3D modelling skills with Blender, a free downloadable design program. Ages 13+.

Blender is a free downloadable 3D design software that is similar to industry standards like Autodesk 3ds Max, and is more advanced than other free options like Tinkercad.

In this virtual program, participants will learn to navigate the user interface and the basic tools for creating a simple 3D model. Take what you learn and build upon your skills using Linkedin Learning courses or bring your model to life on one of the Oakville Public Library's 3D printers, available at all branches!

Prior to the program participants are encouraged to download and install Blender onto their personal computers, however it is not mandatory to participate.
