Learn how they do VFX in a galaxy far, far away and pick up your custom 3D printed project kit at Glen Abbey Branch. Then join us for a Virtual social to assemble the creation together! All Ages.
Join us for an in-depth look on how they create the movies and video games you know and love. We will breakdown visual effects, models, lighting and conceptual designs of the film/game listed. Each class will have a 3D printed project kit that will be picked up at Glen Abbey Branch one week before the session.
A galaxy far, far away inspired 3D printed project kit.
Materials required: If you wish to paint your model during our session please bring acrylic paint, water and a easily cleaned surface.
How it Works:
1. Register for your project kit. Registration closes two (2) weeks before the program to allow for production time.
2. Library staff will email you when your kit is ready for pickup from Glen Abbey branch
3. Join us on Zoom to assemble your project. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
4. Take a picture of your creation. Post it to social using the hashtag #oplcreationzone or email us at creationzone@oakville.ca
