Learn how to use the library's photo and negative scanner and then how to research, tag and share your photos with others in this two part series.
Session 1: Our Creation Specialist will outline best practices for scanning photos and negatives using mobile apps and the scanner available at the Glen Abbey Creation Zone. In addition, she’ll discuss what settings to use to create an archival backup copy of your precious memories, and how to make copies more suitable for sharing or posting online.
Session 2: Our Local Collections Librarian will discuss how to do research on your photos to help identify any possible mysteries. Then, she’ll provide ways to tag your digital photos with the details of who, what, where and when. Finally, she’ll discuss ways to share copies of these photos with others.
This program will be conducted over Zoom.
