Bookbinding Workshop: Hand-Stitched Journals

Learn traditional bookbinding techniques to hand-stitch and customize your own flat-opening blank journal or sketchbook. Ages 18+

Customize your own blank journal or sketchbook with traditional bookbinding techniques! This hands-on workshop introduces participants to Creation Zone bookbinding tools and equipment through a guided project. Learn basic paper-folding, hole-punching, and hand-stitching techniques while completing a finished, flat-opening journal to take home.

All materials are included unless otherwise stated. Participants will complete a finished item to take home. Ages 18+.

Program Fee: $5.00

Important Note: We are unable to offer refunds for participants who are late or missed their program. As well, if a registered participant has not arrived within 15 minutes of the start program time, their spot may be given to a walk-in participant who can pay the materials fee at the Service Desk.

Need to cancel? Please let us know. 

 If you have to cancel your spot for any reason, you can do so by: 

 1.    Logging into MyEvents using your library card.  If you did not register with your library card, you will need the reference number you received in your confirmation email. 

 2.    Phone your local branch, or email oplreference@oakville.ca. Please have ready the program title, program date, and names of registered individuals.
