Program RoomGet ready to experiment, create, and explore! This hands-on STEAM program is designed for tweens and blends science, technology, engineering, art, and math in fun and accessible ways. Ages 9-12
Each session features a new challenge or project using tools like Little Bits, Makey Makey, and other creative technologies—plus low-tech options that spark big ideas. Whether we're inventing, designing, coding, or crafting, participants will build skills, confidence, and curiosity through play and problem-solving.
No experience needed—just bring your imagination and a willingness to try something new!
This program is ticketed. Tickets are required, limited, and vary by branch. Tickets will be distributed 15min prior to program start.

White Oaks Branch
Located within White Oaks Secondary School in central Oakville, the White Oaks Branch is home to a large collection of titles, study spaces, and a large lounge area. The branch hosts a variety of programs for all ages, with a particular focus on family programs. Parking is free.
