Maker Meetup: Cosplay
Saturday, July 25
2:00pm - 4:00pm
Bring a project to work on, share ideas, or simply connect with others in a relaxed, creative space. Open to all experience levels. Ages 18+.
Join fellow makers, creatives, and curious community members for casual themed meetups in the Creation Zone. Each session explores a different topic, interest, or creative prompt—from repair and reuse to textile arts, scrap projects, digital fabrication, and more.
Maker Meetups are community-focused gatherings rather than formal instructional classes. Participants are encouraged to work independently, collaborate, and learn from one another. Limited staff guidance is available, and equipment may be used independently based on staff capacity and equipment availability.
Session theme: The theme of this session is cosplay! Show off completed props and costumes, meet fellow cosplayers, or bring in your works-in-progress to share and explore with others. Discuss techniques, share stories, and use Creation Zone technology to work on your builds. All experience levels welcome.
Please note that participants must adhere to Creation Zone Terms of Use. Prop weapons, obscene or explicit materials, and any other materials inappropriate for a library environment are prohibited.
