This friendly, hands-on session is designed to help seniors feel confident and at ease with their iPads. Come learn about your iPad and get your specific questions answered 55+

This session introduces seniors to the most popular and practical ways to communicate in today’s digital world. Participants learn how to send and receive emails, exchange text messages, and make video calls using tools like Zoom and FaceTime. The workshop also offers a gentle introduction to social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, showing how they can be used to stay in touch with family, follow interests, and share life updates. With clear demonstrations and supportive guidance, this class helps build confidence in using modern communication tools to stay connected and engaged.

Need to cancel? Please let us know. 

 If you have to cancel your spot for any reason, you can do so by: 

 1.    Logging into MyEvents using your library card.  If you did not register with your library card, you will need the reference number you received in your confirmation email. 

 2.    Phone your local branch, or email oplreference@oakville.ca.  Please have ready the program title, program date, and names of registered individuals.
