Join us for a special series of storytimes as we celebrate the 130th birthday of the library! We’ll travel back in time to explore a different decade through stories, songs, & fun historical tidbits
From classic picture books to catchy tunes, fascinating facts, and fun dcrafts, kids will discover how childhood and libraries have changed—and stayed magical—over the years. Perfect for ages 2–6 and their caregivers.
Oakville Public Library is dedicated to the principles of Every Child Ready to Read, an initiative to help parents and caregivers develop early literacy skills in children from birth to age five.
This program is ticketed. Tickets are required, limited, and vary by branch. Tickets will be distributed 15min prior to program start.

Located within the Iroquois Ridge Community Centre, Iroquois Ridge Branch is home to a large collection of materials, study spaces, and a Creation Zone. The branch hosts a variety of programs for all ages, with a particular focus on new and emerging technologies, such as virtual reality and Tinker Toys. Parking is free.
