Join Oakvillegreen in partnership with Oakville Public Library (OPL) for a tree walk in the beautiful Lakeside area. 18+
Explore some of the majestic heritage trees in the downtown historic district and along Lake Ontario. It takes decades for some trees to reach maturity, but once established, large mature trees provide numerous benefits to humans and wildlife and improve the livability in urban environments. There is a lot we can learn about and from trees and be inspired to take responsibility for our invaluable urban forest!
This event is part of Green Connections for Adults 55+ Program.
