Celebrate the start of the 2025 Summer Reading Club with a day of travel-themed fun for the whole family. Inspired by this year’s theme, Passport to Reading, each Kick-off Party features a variety of fun activities designed to spark creativity and imagination. At the branch, children and teens can sign up for the Summer Reading Club and begin their reading journey for a chance to win prizes such as The Works vouchers, YMCA family day passes, Town Swim or Skate passes and more.
Activities may include a paper airplane challenge, a travel-themed photo booth, a collaborative world map mural, postcard crafting, travel journal creation, a scavenger hunt, and a colouring station.
