Who says coding needs a computer! In this session we will discuss the lo-fi side of coding, with games, crafts, and more.

Learn the basics of binary code, and new ways to think about patterns. This is a great way to introduce children to STEM concepts. We will also provide some simple activities you can do at home based on the toys we explore, and more resources you can find at home.

Skills Learned: Communication, Creativity, Technology literacy, Social Skills

This program is unregistered. Space is limited to 10 children. Tickets are required, and available 15min prior to program start. Caregivers must remain at the library at all times.

About the branch

Located in north Oakville near the Sixteen Mile Sports Complex, the Sixteen Mile Branch features a flexible program space used for both town and library programming. Parking is free.
