Join us to learn about the basic concepts and skills needed to make smart financial decisions. It's never too early to plan a financially bright future! (Ages 8-11)

November is Financial Literacy Month and so we are bringing CPA Canada’s financial literacy programs to the library.  Each topic focuses on teaching kids the basic concepts and skills needed to make smart financial decisions. Through interactive activities, case studies, and a question and answer period, children will gain a better understanding of money matters which will help them get started towards a financially bright future.

Bartering: Different items have different values (i.e., you cannot compare one apple to one pound of wheat). Money places a specific value on items and solves this issue.

Gloria Madekic is a member of  CPA Canada - the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.
