Creation ZoneLearn how to operate a sewing machine in the creation of a custom project, such as a book bag, apron, cushion cover and more! Machines and materials will be provided. Beginner level. Ages 16+.
During this in-person introductory program, participants will learn basic machine operation, and different techniques in the creation of a custom project such as a book bag, apron, cushion cover and more!
Each participant will be provided a sewing machine, eye protection and materials.

Located within the Iroquois Ridge Community Centre, Iroquois Ridge Branch is home to a large collection of materials, study spaces, and a Creation Zone. The branch hosts a variety of programs for all ages, with a particular focus on new and emerging technologies, such as virtual reality and Tinker Toys. Parking is free.
