Help shape the library for youth in Oakville Ages 14+
In Youth Library Leaders you will get the opportunity to connect, share, and develop ideas with other youth that engage the larger Oakville youth community at OPL. Through monthly meetings, you will share feedback, develop new ideas, and gain volunteer hours.
Sessions will be held in-person at a branch. Participants are required to attend all sessions.
This is a volunteer opportunity. Please sign up through the opl.ca website. Applicants to this program will be interviewed and selected to be part of the group.

Located within the Glen Abbey Community Centre in northwest Oakville, Glen Abbey Branch is Oakville Public Library’s busiest location and serves over 350,000 customers per year. As a community and cultural hub in north Oakville, the branch offers several rooms available for booking and hosts a variety of programming for all-ages that inspires creativity. Parking is free.
