This family friendly event will cover some of the important pollinators that visit Oakville.
Oakville is home to a wide variety of pollinator species, including birds, butterflies, and other insects that rely on native plants to play important roles in the environment. This event will include a brief talk and lesson on common pollinators, the reading of short story, and a seed bomb making workshop using clay, soil, and native seeds.
All ages welcome!

Located within the Glen Abbey Community Centre in northwest Oakville, Glen Abbey Branch is Oakville Public Library’s busiest location and serves over 350,000 customers per year. As a community and cultural hub in north Oakville, the branch offers several rooms available for booking and hosts a variety of programming for all-ages that inspires creativity. Parking is free.
