Bring your little one to Oakville Galleries’ Gairloch Gardens to explore art and enjoy story time! Parents/guardians and children (0 to 4 years)
In partnership with the Oakville Galleries, join us as we stroll amongst the roses on the lakeside, using the surrounding sculptures within the garden as inspiration for an engaging and toddler friendly art activity. The session will end with an accompanying story as we wind down under the trees.
This program is part of OPL’s 2021 Summer Reading Challenge program, running from July 1st to August 31st. Check out how to join the challenge, and find other Summer Reading Challenge programs.
Registration is required and limited to five (5) households with a maximum of four (4) people per household. A single (1) caregiver from the household will register.
Location
All sessions will be conducted in Gairloch Gardens. The meeting point will be outside of the Education Centre at Oakville Galleries in Gairloch Gardens, 1306 Lakeshore Road East, 2 km from downtown Oakville.
Health & Safety
The safety of our patrons and staff is our top priority. To help reduce the spread of COVID-19, Oakville Galleries & Library programs meet health guidelines designed in consultation with the Town of Oakville and in alignment with provincial health guidelines. Guidelines include lower ratios and capacity, encouraging physical distancing, mandatory masking & health screening, and all instruction outdoors.
