Calling all small businesses and entrepreneurs! Come learn the fundamentals of good logo design and how to start crafting your own in this two-part workshop series. Ages 13+.
Looking to design a professional logo for your small business, or revamp an existing one? Join us for a two-part virtual workshop series on how to design your own logo.
Part 1: During our first session on July 20th, we'll discuss what makes a successful logo and basic graphic design elements. Participants will also be given simple exercises to help jumpstart their design process.
Part 2: During our second session on July 22nd, we'll cover the basics of vector graphics, review suitable design software and start drafting preliminary ideas using the free Wix logo maker. You can then choose to purchase your design through Wix, or go on to learn an advanced design program to create your logo from scratch. Prior to this session participants will need to register for a free Wix account, however it is not mandatory to participate.
This program is part of OPL’s 2021 Summer Reading Challenge program, running from July 1st - August 31st. Check out how to join the challenge, and find other Summer Reading Challenge programs.
