Take and Make

Birdhouse

Register to pick up a custom wooden birdhouse project kit at Glen Abbey Branch. Then join us virtually to assemble the creation together! All Ages.

Join us for a cool DIY experience with our previously run Take and Make craft project kits.

Note: This is a repeat Take and Make. If you have already taken part in this project please be advised that it is intended for customers who have yet to participate. Please check our other Take and Make programs for new projects.

Welcome summer and the chirping of birds with a wooden birdhouse project kit with custom engravings!

All you need to supply is:

• Wood glue
• Sandpaper (optional)
• Elastic bands (optional)
• Outdoor stain or paint (optional)

How it Works:

1. Register for your project kit. Registration closes two (2) weeks before the program to allow for production time.
2. Library staff will email you when your kit is ready for pickup from Glen Abbey Branch
3. Join us on Zoom to assemble your project. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
4. Take a picture of your creation. Post it to social using the hashtag #oplcreationzone or email us at creationzone@oakville.ca
