Mindfulness Storytime

Join us for a story, movement, and activities that aim to build awareness and introduce emotion language. Ages 4-7Y.

Join us for a story, movement, and activities that aim to build awareness, introduce emotion language, and resiliency. 

We will be demonstrating how to create a mindful glitter jar. If you would like to follow along, bring a mason jar, a spice jar, or even a plastic water bottle, water, glitter or beads, and food colouring. 

This program is geared towards children aged 4-7Y.

The program will be conducted over the Zoom video platform. For safety and attendance purposes, please register for the program using your child's first name. For instructions on how to use Zoom, please watch this video. 

During the program please make sure there is an adult present at all times to supervise your child.  The Library cannot and does not act in place of, or absence of, a parent or legal guardian and is not responsible for enforcing restrictions which a parent or guardian may place upon a minor's use of this technology. By using the Library's services, the user agrees to abide by existing policies and guidelines.

·        OPL reserves the right to cancel this program in advance due to low registration.

·        This program will be considered cancelled if zero (0) attendees arrive within the first fifteen (15) minutes of the stated program time.
