Cynthia Loyst's debut book, Find Your Pleasure, reveals how to embrace your desires to become the happiest, healthiest, most successful version of yourself.

Cynthia Loyst is a writer, producer, television co-host for CTV’s The Social and pleasure expert.

Her debut book, Find Your Pleasure, shines a light on the importance of guilt-free pleasure, the mental health benefits of pleasure, the pleasure gap between men and women, how to prioritize pleasure while parenting, and the inclusivity of pleasure and how to find it in a resourceful way. A natural interviewer and speaker, Cynthia does an amazing job of articulating the meaning behind her work as a pleasure advocate, while sharing practical and insightful advice on how to apply this to every life.

Cynthia candidly shares her own experiences with mom-guilt, pleasure-shaming, sex positivity, body positivity and so much more. She also empowers women to revel in all of life’s joys - even the messy ones.

Presented by The Oakville Centre, Oakville Public Library, A Different Drummer Books and Lakeshore Securities
