Join us for a practical, informative session on Personal Support Workers (PSWs)—what they do, when to consider one, and how to plan ahead with confidence. 18+
Many families only start looking for care during a crisis, when decisions feel rushed and overwhelming. This workshop helps shift that experience toward preparation and peace of mind. You’ll learn why building trusted support early matters, whether care may eventually be needed at home, in a retirement residence, or during a hospital stay.
Support doesn’t have to mean full‑time care. It can be occasional help, monthly check‑ins, or simply knowing who to call when the time comes. Early planning can make a meaningful difference for both seniors and their loved ones.
We also explore what quality care truly looks like—consistent PSWs, clear communication, safety, transparency, and compassionate support. Families deserve to feel reassured that their loved one is treated with dignity and never feels like “just a number.”
Ultimately, this session is about prevention, connection, and confidence. You’ll leave feeling informed, empowered, and better prepared long before care becomes urgent.
