Are you a creative teen who loves making art? Join our Cricut for a Cause program and use your creativity to make a difference! Earn volunteer hours while giving back to the community. 14-18yrs

Using Cricut machines, teen volunteers will create cards and other art projects, which will be donated to various organizations in our community.

Volunteer Responsibilities include:

  • Design and create cards and other art projects using Cricut machines.
  • Collaborate with other volunteers to brainstorm creative ideas.
  • Follow specific design instructions and be detail-oriented in your work.
  • Help package and deliver completed projects to community organizations.

Requirements:

  •  Must be at least 14 years old.
  •  Willingness to learn new technologies, especially the Cricut machine.
  •  A positive attitude and a desire to give back to the community.
  •  Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions.

Benefits of Volunteering:

  •  Learn how to use a Cricut machine and other creative tools.
  •  Develop your creativity and design skills.
  •  Improve social skills through collaboration with fellow volunteers.
  •  Earn 1 volunteer hour for each session.
  •  Be part of a meaningful initiative that gives back to the community.

How to Apply:

Interested teens can apply by signing up for shifts on My Impact. No prior experience is required, just a passion for creativity and helping others!

Only those volunteers that have signed up for a shift will be able to participate in the program.

Located within southwest Oakville, the Woodside Branch is home to a large collection of materials and study spaces. The branch hosts a variety of programs for all ages. Parking is free.
