Photo and Film Scanning

Learn to digitize photos, film and artwork using the Creation Zone's pro-quality scanner and SilverFast software - great for family archivists, artists and photographers! Ages 18+.

In this demo program, participants will learn how to use SilverFast scanning software and discover best practices for digitizing photos and film using the Creation Zone’s pro-quality scanner. This session will showcase the scanning process and provide tips for capturing high-quality digital images.

Important Note: We are unable to offer refunds for participants who are late or missed their program. As well, if a registered participant has not arrived within 15 minutes of the start program time, their spot may be given to a walk-in participant who can pay the materials fee at the Service Desk.

Need to cancel? Please let us know. 

 If you have to cancel your spot for any reason, you can do so by: 

 1.    Logging into MyEvents using your library card.  If you did not register with your library card, you will need the reference number you received in your confirmation email. 

 2.    Phone your local branch, or email oplreference@oakville.ca. Please have ready the program title, program date, and names of registered individuals.
