18844 Pr0Teens, a FIRST Tech Challenge team, will lead participants through building a basic Lego Spike Prime robot that can drive with pre-programmed code, pick up objects, and use sensors. 9-12yrs
Building the robot involves block coding, building a robot base, building an arm and adding sensors. Coding concepts will include “if" statements, loops and movement statements.
Participants will work in pairs. It is recommended that you bring your own computer/iPad. Instructors from the 18844 Pr0teens will provide a slideshow presentation and instructions to guide participants.
Please note that this is a 3-week series program. By registering for the program, you are signing up for all 3 sessions.

Located within the Iroquois Ridge Community Centre, Iroquois Ridge Branch is home to a large collection of materials, study spaces, and a Creation Zone. The branch hosts a variety of programs for all ages, with a particular focus on new and emerging technologies, such as virtual reality and Tinker Toys. Parking is free.
