Learn how to operate a sewing machine in the creation of a custom project. Machines and materials will be provided. Beginner level. Ages 16+.
During this in-person introductory program, participants will learn basic machine operation, and different techniques in the creation of a custom project. In this session, participants will learn all the skills necessary to complete a custom plushie.
Each participant will be provided a sewing machine and eye protection. Materials will be provided at a cost of $20.00 each.
The pattern for this program is based on the Squishmallow. Every participant will leave with an approximately 14" plushie.

Located within the Iroquois Ridge Community Centre, Iroquois Ridge Branch is home to a large collection of materials, study spaces, and a Creation Zone. The branch hosts a variety of programs for all ages, with a particular focus on new and emerging technologies, such as virtual reality and Tinker Toys. Parking is free.
