Join us for a creative adventure into game design with Scratch, the world's most beginner-friendly visual programming platform. Workshop is for those with little to no prior coding experience. 8-12+

You will learn the fundamentals of Scratch, including sprites, blocks, and event-driven programming.  Be the end of the session, you will apply your new skills to create your own playable game, giving you a taste of what you can achieve with coding.  This workshop is a perfect starting point for young creators eager to bring their ideas to life!

This workshop is being led by volunteers from STEM from Scratch, a high school student-led organization providing STEM-related opportunities to students across Halton.
