Are you an aspiring writer seeking feedback and inspiration? Join us for the monthly Halton Writer's Workshop! Age 18+
In this relaxed, fun and supportive environment, you’ll have the opportunity to share your writing—whether it’s a short story, poem, memoir, or non-fiction—and receive constructive feedback from fellow writers (if you wish). All skill levels are welcome!
The Halton Writer's Workshop is facilitated by Benjamin Gleisser, an award-winning journalist, medical writer, and ghostwriter. With experience teaching composition, journalism, and creative writing at Cuyahoga Community College and Cleveland State University, Benjamin brings a wealth of knowledge to the group. He is the recipient of two Ontario Arts Council writing grants and has previously led the Moosemeat Writing Group (Toronto) and the Burlington Writers Workshop.
Skills you’ll develop: Critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, information literacy, initiative, and social skills.
