Program Room 1Are you a creative teen who loves making art and giving back to the community? Join our Cricut for a Cause program and use your creativity to make a difference! 14-17yrs
We are looking for dedicated teen volunteers to create cards and other art projects using Cricut machines, which will be donated to various organizations in our community.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Design and create cards and other art projects using Cricut machines.
- Collaborate with other volunteers to brainstorm creative ideas.
- Follow specific design instructions and be detail-oriented in your work.
- Help package and deliver completed projects to community organizations.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 14 years old.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, especially the Cricut machine.
- A positive attitude and a desire to give back to the community.
- Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions.

How to Apply:
Interested teens can apply by signing up for shifts on My Impact. No prior experience is required, just a passion for creativity and helping others!
Only those volunteers that have signed up for a shift will be able to participate in the program.

Glen Abbey Branch
Located within the Glen Abbey Community Centre in northwest Oakville, Glen Abbey Branch is Oakville Public Library’s busiest location and serves over 350,000 customers per year. As a community and cultural hub in north Oakville, the branch offers several rooms available for booking and hosts a variety of programming for all-ages that inspires creativity. Parking is free.
