Join us for an engaging and interactive workshop where you will learn the essentials of seed starting for kale and spinach and discover how to make a delicious and nutritious spinach kale pesto.
Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just getting started, this workshop offers valuable insights and hands-on experience.
This is a family, all ages event.

• Introduction to Seed Starting: Understand the importance of growing your own greens and the benefits of kale and spinach.
• Hands-On Seed Starting: Follow along with a step-by-step demonstration to start your own kale and spinach seeds, with tips on soil preparation, planting, and care.
• Growing Tips and Troubleshooting: Learn about light and temperature requirements, watering schedules, and how to handle common issues like pests and diseases.
• Spinach Kale Pesto Demonstration: Watch a live demo on how to make a tasty spinach kale pesto and take home a recipe to try yourself.
