Program RoomPeriods are political! Learn how you can be an advocate for menstrual equity. This session is geared to adults, ages 18+
The Period Purse is a non-profit registered charity that strives to achieve menstrual equity and reduce the stigma surrounding periods.
This one hour presentation will encourage active participation. Facilitators are sensitive to the needs and interests of the age group present.
Following a session, participants may have:
- Increased comfort with menstruation
- Reduced period shame or stigma
- More knowledgeable and confident about periods

Iroquois Ridge Branch
Located within the Iroquois Ridge Community Centre, Iroquois Ridge Branch is home to a large collection of materials, study spaces, and a Creation Zone. The branch hosts a variety of programs for all ages, with a particular focus on new and emerging technologies, such as virtual reality and Tinker Toys. Parking is free.
